Large format market set for “significant growth” to 2030

The global large format printer market - valued at US$9.15 billion in 2020 - is projected to register an annual growth rate of 4.2% to reach US$13.7 billion by 2030, according to new research. Inkjet printing now accounts for more than 50% of the large format market.

Mimaki sees strong growth in UV LED and Automation

Mimaki's European operation has issued an end-of-year summary in which strong growth in UV printers and an increasing interest in production automation is predicted. General Manager of Sales, Arjen Evertse, acknowledges the challenges the pandemic has and is bringing, but adds that this has accelerated the need for localised production. ASGA warning over sustainable business practices

3M Belgium Production Facility Compelled to Shut Down After Alarming Levels of PFAS Found in Citizens

Per- and poly-fluoroalkyls (PFAS) are a class of harmful chemicals commonly found in products that reduce heat, stains, grease and water. They are common in many household products, such as carpets and non-stick cookware. PFAS  do not naturally degrade, they are ingested by humans and animals, and accumulate in the body. A small amount of daily exposure can lead to high concentrations over time.
