Mimaki's full-colour 3D printing technology is really coming of age. To celebrate 50 years of the UK soap opera Emmerdale, the producers wanted a TV trailer featuring actual cast members during a wild storm in the village. Memjet's spiritual home is Sydney, Australia where Kia Silverbrook and his team developed the first MEMS printhead technology from the late 1990s to early 2000s, amassing thousands of patents along the way. Silverbrook Research was later acquired by American interests, along with all the patents. The good news is that some of the manufacturing is coming back to Australia.

Manufacturer 3M will exit the per- and polyfluoroalkyl substance (PFAS) manufacturing market and discontinue its use of PFAS chemicals across its product portfolio by the end of 2025. The company's current annual sales of manufactured PFAS is about $1.3 billion.

Kyocera Corporation plans to build a manufacturing plant on 37 acres of land in Isahaya City, Nagasaki Prefecture, to expand its production capacity. The company did not say which products will be made at the new facility.
