Cautious welcome to updated Gov. Apprenticeship Priority List

Mimaki's flexible inks make UV car wraps real

Many sign companies damaged in 'devastating' floods: NZSDA

Was Maryvale paper business heading south before the Possum Paradox?

As Opal Australian Paper ‘seriously considers’ closing down its paper business at the Maryvale mill in Victoria following a court order blocking supply, owner Nippon Paper’s business plan from last year noted "weak sales" of graphic paper at the mill and a plan to transfer Maryvale's M3 paper machine from graphic paper to more profitable paperboard used in packaging.

OMA launches $3m healthy eating campaign as school year begins

The Outdoor Media Association has launched the Healthy Returns campaign - in partnership with Health and Wellbeing Queensland and Nutrition Australia - to tackle obesity and encourage Australians to eat more vegetables. In a campaign designed by oOh!media’s creative and content hub POLY, unhealthy food and drink advertising will be restricted near schools.

NZ printers facing long clean-up after record flooding

National print association PrintNZ says many of its members across the upper North Island are facing the prospect of a long recovery after devastating flooding in the region. Homes and businesses in Auckland were again flooded on Wednesday morning as heavy rain continued in what insurers have called 'the biggest climate event' in New Zealand's history.

Canon total income up 13% to ¥244bn as print profit falls

Canon’s Printing Business Unit posted an increase in revenue but profit was down, “reflecting a significant increase in parts and logistical costs, and a decline in consumables sales, as home demand for inkjet printers peaked out.” However, production printing remained a bright spot, with “an increase in the number of dealers that handle our large format printers, and subsequent growth in sales.”

Out of Home revenue hits $1 billion

The Australian Out of Home (OOH) industry announced an increase of 27.6% on net media revenue for 2022, reporting $1,060.5 million, up from an adjusted figure of $831.1 million for 2021. The Outdoor Media Association (OMA) says it's added 16 new members in the last 18 months.
