Celmac recognised by HP as APAC Top Sales Partner for Latex large format

Also on the agenda was the presenting of awards for outstanding achievement. Local reseller Celmac was there and on the receiving end of a high accolade.

Printer sales help drive Ricoh to H1 profit of ¥23bn

Ricoh’s Graphic Communications unit sales increased by 25% to ¥108.8 billion, with commercial printing business sales rising as economic activities recovered from Covid-related restrictions. “Despite the impact of material shortages, sales of production printers increased as we worked to secure production volumes,” Ricoh said.

Eight freight companies warned over 'cartel conduct'

Cartel agreements made it possible for freight companies to charge customers more for retail freight forwarding services, said the NZ Commerce Commission. In June, two international freight companies – including Sydney-based Mondiale Freight Services – were fined a total of more than $9 million over 'deceptive' Australia/NZ freight cartels.

Epson reports strong revenue growth despite supply shortages

Epson reported strong revenue and profit growth in its second quarter financial results, despite “skyrocketing” materials and logistics costs. Epson’s Q2 revenue of ¥335.2bn was up ¥66.8bn or 25% on the previous year, with ¥23.7bn in profit for the period (up ¥4.7bn).
