Printer sales help drive Ricoh to H1 profit of ¥23bn

Ricoh’s Graphic Communications unit sales increased by 25% to ¥108.8 billion, with commercial printing business sales rising as economic activities recovered from Covid-related restrictions. “Despite the impact of material shortages, sales of production printers increased as we worked to secure production volumes,” Ricoh said.

Eight freight companies warned over 'cartel conduct'

Cartel agreements made it possible for freight companies to charge customers more for retail freight forwarding services, said the NZ Commerce Commission. Epson reports strong revenue growth despite supply shortages

Epson reported strong revenue and profit growth in its second quarter financial results, despite “skyrocketing” materials and logistics costs. Epson’s Q2 revenue of ¥335.2bn was up ¥66.8bn or 25% on the previous year, with ¥23.7bn in profit for the period (up ¥4.7bn).

Wide Format printers shine at ProPrint 50 Awards night

It's the Awards Season and the surprise event was the ProPrint magazine 'Top50' Awards held at Sydney's Shangri-La Ballroom at The Rocks. Around 350 industry people gathered there for a glittering evening hosted by Sam McCool of PacPrint fame and with Durst as the major sponsor and a raft of who's-who sponsors supporting them.
