Elementex has announced the arrival of its latest Evergreen Fabric: JET 250.
"Evergreen fabrics are the only eco-friendly coated fabrics for digital printing in the world today. They do not contain PVC or other carcinogenic ingredients that are usually contained in standard coated fabrics, " said Marusha Joy of Elemetex.
JET 250 is designed especially for outdoor uses which lends itself to standard format banners or other signage applications.

It will not curl and offers excellent dot gain.

a maximum life expectancy of 1 year and in its short time on the market the largest project to utilise this unique substrate has been 60 m2 (roll printed to length).

is a high tenacity polyester – 550 dTex substrate product that is guaranteed to be PVC, Phtalat, Phosphate, Formaldehyde and Glycolether.free.

is a light (200g/m2) fabric that helps to reduce transport costs.

is extremely resistant mechanically (almost as standard PVC coated Frontlit) it still remains supple, making it easy to handle during production and installation.

is available in a 3.10m width / 60 Lm rolls with the printable side outside and can be easily split.
The fabric can be made up in two ways: 1 - weldable with HF (preferably with a tape) or 2 – by stitching and has been successfully tested on Vutek 3360 / HP Xljet / Jeti 3200 / HP Latex and Vutek BioVu machines with Solvent, UV and Ecological: BioVu / Latex inks. However please note that JET 250 cannot be printed with Eco-solvent inks!
Elementex claim that Dickson Coating's commitment to the environment is now proven by Life Cycle Assessment (ISO 14040 and 14044) with support by the ADEME (French environment and Energy Management Agency supervised by the French Government).
