GJS has announced the relaunch of its popular printing courses with an expanded offering that aims to enhance the digital skills of the industry.
Available immediately will be the ‘Introduction to Printing’ course which is designed to give participants hands-on experience of the many different screen printing and heat transfer solutions available on the market and the newly created ‘Introduction to Graphics Software for Printing’ course which will provide participants with a foundation in the creation and use of digital software applications, specifically targeted at the print industry.
“Our printing courses have been a perennially popular part of GJS’s offering to the industry and with the move to our beautiful new showroom and the increasing need to assist our customers with digital printing processes, we wanted to take the time to ensure the relaunch of our courses would provide those attending the courses with the most relevant and practical skills needed to either set up and operate a successful printing business, or branch out into a new area and open up new market opportunities,” said Greg Stone, Managing Director, GJS.
GJS has a brand new 200 square metre training facility at its showroom in Revesby – NSW. This modern facility features high quality equipment offering the latest technology. The equipment will assist in training people in all different aspect of screen printing, plastisol heat transfers, dye sublimation transfers, direct-to-garment and thermal textile vinyl solutions. Fully qualified industry experts conduct these technical trade courses.
“The small group environment that we have created for our courses really means that you can have direct access to the instructors and maximise your investment and time by attending. And because of our commitment to exceptional customer service we offer ongoing support to those who attend our courses to ensure that they continue to develop their skills,” Greg added.

GJS today also announced a further extension to its online customer support offering with the addition of live chat functionality to its recently refreshed website. Customers can now use the live chat system to speak with a GJS staff member to have their questions resolved in real-time without the need to email or phone.
