AiG comments on 'sobering' RBA interest rate increase

Color Concepts, a leading software developer for the large format inkjet printing industry, has changed its name to ColorBase and announced plans to help reduce an estimated $90 billion of global print waste. The company maintains a huge database of printers, RIPs, ICC profiles & materials.

Ricoh profit jumps 16% on sales growth

Ricoh’s sales in the first nine months of the fiscal year rose by 19.8% to ¥1,528.6 billion ($A16.75bn) and gross profit increased by 16.7% pcp to ¥538.8 billion ($A5.9bn). The company’s Graphic Communications business, which includes Commercial and Industrial Printing, recorded a sales increase of 25% (9.8% excluding foreign currency exchange fluctuations).

Kyocera reports record sales revenue

For the nine months ended 31 December 2022, Kyocera posted record sales revenue of ¥1,526 billion ($A17bn) up 12.6% year-on-year. Profit was down 3.9% year-on-year, partly because of increases in costs for raw materials and logistics.

Strong quarter for Epson despite fall in print profit

Epson recorded Q3 revenue of ¥361 billion ($A3.9 billion), up 22% year-on-year, with profit up ¥4bn to ¥31.2bn ($A340 million). The company's Printing Solutions business revenue rose 21% to ¥249 billion ($A2.73 billion) but profit was down due to high material and logistics costs. However, Commercial and Industrial printing segment revenue and profit both increased.
