KIP are claiming that their Color 80 machine is the world's first and only wide format LED toner based printer.
Whilst capable of producing prints for the sign and display sectors, it would appear that the company's heritage comes from the Engineering Drawing and CAD sector.
KIP say that they believe the Color 80 will change the landscape for volume wide format colour printing as it is capable of producing A0 output every 17 seconds, which is almost four A0 sheets per minute, regardless of image coverage or complexity.
The company also claim that the unit can print on to regular bond paper, as well as a range of more specialised substrates, all of which are instantly dry and UV stable.
