INKdustrial is working with an EPA-approved liquid waste company to collect waste ink |
INKdustrial was established earlier this year by former Mimaki employees, to focus on the industrial side of inkjet, starting with label presses.
Announcing the new service, Director John Bryson says: "Over the years I have been asked numerous times 'how do I dispose of waste ink from our wide format printers?' Our service is the pick up, collection and then disposal of waste ink, in particular from wide format inkjetprinters.
Bryson continues: "We have an arrangement with one of the liquid waste companies to offer a service where we collect and then dispose of the waste from inkjet printers in accordance with the NSW EPA rules. We will have drums available, that customers can use for their waste ink and these drums are are dangerous goods-compliant.
"As we look to recover from the pandemic and re-open, shops can clean up their waste and know that it is disposed of correctly, setting themselves up for a clean work environment post-pandemic."
