It's a big first quarter for Women in Print, with the celebration of International Women's Day and the schedule for the popular WIP Breakfast Series announced.
International Women’s Day is coming up next month, on 8th March; the theme is Invest in Women; Accelerate Progress. An action-focused theme, it could not come at a better time, as we acknowledge that inspiring events and a once-year motivation is not enough to close the gender pay gap. The Women in Print Board and Patrons will be attending or speaking at various events nationwide. Links are shown below if you are looking to connect with us or find an event to attend in your area:
- New South Wales Patron Debbie Burgess will be speaking at the Future of Women in Western Sydney Summit.
- Board Chair Stephanie Gaddin will be attending a lunch hosted by Fiona Patten in conversation with Georgie Purcell at The Kelvin Club in Melbourne.
- Finally, Queensland Patron Morag Pugh will be hosting a Morning Tea at QLM Label Makers in Brisbane.
