Australia and New Zealand's premier trade expo for the Printing, Signage and Graphic Arts industry is now launched, to be ready for the May 2025 opening. The floorplan is already looking excellent, with large stands from major suppliers already locked in. PacPrint will also incorporate Visual Impact and the Label & Packaging shows and, for the first time, will be staged in Sydney.
Traditionally held at Melbourne's Exhibition Centre, the co-owner associations Visual Connections and the VMA, decided to alternate between Sydney and Melbourne after the last 2022 event. From May 20th to 23rd 2025, the industry will gather at Sydney Showgrounds Dome and linked Halls 2 & 3, within the famed Olympic Park complex.
As a result of alternating PacPrint between Sydney and Melbourne, the PrintEx brand has been retired but Visual Impact events for the Signage and Display industry will continue at various locations around Australia.
Exhibitors already on the floorplan include: Fujifilm, Ball & Doggett, Spicers, HP, Mimaki, Epson, Rollover, Roland DG, Konica Minolta, Graphic Art Mart, Lamination Systems, Screen, Mutoh, Celmac, CERM, Paper Handling Equipment, Avery Dennison, Prime Grafix, ACCO, Stick On Signs, Quote&Print, Graphic Printing Point, Thunder Laser, Gulmen Digital, Multicam, Alfex, PrintIQ, SA-LED, Banner Mate, Trotec, Flag China and Lettertech.
With nine months to go, this is a sensational start, with some of the stands larger than ever before. There are still many opportunities for exhibitors to book but the Dome is approaching sold-out already. It's looking like this show will be fully committed by early 2025.
PacPrint has a fine history dating back to the early 1950s when the show began as a way of presenting technologies released at the Drupa, Germany events. PacPrint was usually held one year after each Drupa, and the 2025 event is no exception.
This year's Board of Directors is a blend of VMA (formerly PIAA) and Visual Connections members. The Chairmanship alternates between the two associations with each edition of PacPrint.
Kirsten Taylor of Taylor’d Press is Chair, with six other Board members: Jonny Rumney, Celmac; Priscilla Dickason, Epson; Kevin Pidgeon, Lithocraft; Andrea Trumble, Pozitive; Sharon Dowsey, Spicers.
Organisation will be under Visual Connections CEO Peter Harper until he retires at the end of 2024, and Events Manager Charly Blades.
The Sydney Showground is a very visitor-friendly venue, with ample parking, rail and bus links, proximity to the airport and for exhibitors, one-level and excellent access for trucks and equipment.
