The first thing visitors to PacPrint 2025 wil experience is the new sustainable registration kiosks, constructed from lightweight recyclable Re-Board paper board.
At just 7kg flat-packed, a standard EcoKiosk can even be carried as check-in luggage
Developed in collaboration with Sydney's Next Printing, the EcoKiosk represents a significant advancement in eco-friendly event technology. Kiosks, made from Re-Board from Spicers, are fully customisable and reusable, minimising environmental impact without compromising on functionality or aesthetic appeal.
Kirsten Taylor, Chair of PacPrint 2025, emphasised the importance of sustainability in the industry, saying: “The PacPrint 2025 trade show has made a firm commitment to sustainable practices and having our registration desk being part of environmental innovation is a great welcome to all attendees."Re-Board is an amazingly versatile, sustainable material
The inclusion of the EcoKiosk underscores the event's dedication to sustainability through promoting environmentally responsible practices and products. It's a remarkable material, made in Sweden, with impressive environmental credentials including FSC.
Being made out of Re-Board, the EcoKiosk makes it extremely lightweight, even portable and extremely easy to set up, which considerably reduces the logistical challenges associated with more typical event registration setups. In fact at just 7kg flat-packed, the stand can even be carried as check-in luggage. MDF could just not do this easily.
Once the check-in computer technology has been inserted, the whole kiosk weighs around 23kgs and its modularity allows for versatile configurations, whether as a free-standing kiosk or a desk-top version, enabling event organisers to customise setup to suit different venue spaces and event sizes/types. The EcoKiosk can also be repurposed for wayfinding, exit surveys, and session and event information displays, and easily tailored to specific brand/sponsorship requirements.
