Mick Harrold, ASGA President, says: “The Awards were originally founded to recognise and reward sign companies nationally for the achievement of excellence, and to showcase the wonderful array of talent within our industry.”
“As well as providing a platform to recognise the best work across all facets of the sign and graphics sector, the Awards promote the full range of signage products our industry produces – modern, digital and traditional methods, across all applications from fabricated and illuminated signage to printed and soft signage.”
Entries for this year’s competition will open on 9th February 2026, for work completed between 25 July 2024 and 24 July 2025. Judging will be conducted by an expert panel, which will be appointed in the new year. Award winners will be announced at a presentation dinner, to be held at the Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park, on Thursday 3rd September, 2026.
The Association, which has run the Awards every second year since 2006, is now seeking sponsors for the 2026 event, and expressions of interest from potential judges, following the convening of an Organising Committee for the event.
Harrold says: “Sponsors are of course the ones who make events like this possible, and the Awards provide a great platform for companies to demonstrate their support for the sector.”
“Accordingly, we’re inviting sponsors to take advantage of valuable marketing opportunities associated with the competition and the Gala Awards Presentation Dinner, which has long been regarded as the industry’s ‘Night of Nights’.
