Long-established Melbourne-based, large-format printer and outdoor media production house, Billboard Media, has entered into voluntary administration, with Hall Chadwick partners Richard Albarran and John Vouris appointed on 8th December 2025.

Billboard Media

In spite of four decades of operating history and servicing national campaigns across Australia and New Zealand, as the business gained a reputation for high-capacity outdoor and retail media production, Billboard Media has now moved to voluntary administration. A first meeting of creditors has been scheduled for 18th December 2025 at 10:00am AEDT, to be held at Hall Chadwick’s Sydney offices and simultaneously via teleconference.

Creditors are required to lodge proofs of debt and proxies by 4:00pm on 17th December 2025.

Billboard Media has a substantial fleet of large-format machinery, including multiple EFI VUTEk Q5r five-metre roll-to-roll printers and a significant technology investment in 2021, with the installation of two D3 2XL-3200 machines with BHS150 systems: the first installation of its kind in Asia-Pacific and only the second time two units have been installed in a single business worldwide.

At the upcoming first creditors’ meeting, creditors will determine whether to form a committee of inspection and may also vote on whether to confirm or replace the current administrators.

On its LinkedIn profile, Billboard Media claims to have ‘the greatest number of large format printers in the southern hemisphere and the capabilities to print everything from posters and street furniture to custom size banners and billboards’.
