Three of Agfa Graphics' newest:Anapurna printer distributors have teamed together to provide support to wide format printing customers across the country. The recently-formed alliance of leading sign industry suppliers iMedia, Project Engraving and Digital, and Sign Essentials, has strengthened Agfa's :Anapurna sales channel and allows the distributors to share technical information, product knowledge, and marketing strategies. While the companies remain individually owned and operated, the cooperative arrangement will strengthen their local sales and service support.

The advertisement has been certified by the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest ‘banner’ in the world. Ad-Air estimates that some 15 million people will see the advertisement every year. While Ad-Air does not disclose the price of its individual mega-advertisements, Ad-Air has stated that its prices range from R525,000 to just over R1 million per month. Ad-Air has also acknowledged that it has rights to 30 airports globally. Expect to see similar giant ads at both Los Angeles International Airport and Chicago O’Hare next year.

Most respondents to SGIA's recent survey, 2007 Safety Initiatives, said they didn't have injuries on the job and currently have safety programs in place. In what would seem to be a never ending upward graph, total revenue for the outdoor advertising industry in the US grew 6.1% in the third quarter of 2007 compared to the same period last year. The revenue figures are collected in aggregate each month by certified public accountants Miller, Kaplan, Arase & Co., LLP and used by the Outdoor Advertising Association of America, in combination with other sources, to release industry revenue information on a quarterly basis. Miller Kaplan provides revenue estimates for more than 2000 radio stations in 160 markets, in addition to the outdoor advertising industry.
