Düsseldorf's home of drupa, Berlin home of FESPA, open Halls for Ukrainian refugees

Messe Düsseldorf, the home of drupa 2024 and also the K plastics show this year, says it received a request to make its largest hall available to accomodate fleeing Ukrainians. The hall covers nearly 270,000 square feet and has its own changing rooms and 40 shower stalls. Messe Berlin is also accommodating refugees.

Kodak to highlight digital, offset & software solutions at PacPrint

Industrial printer shipments up 17% despite supply challenges

New data from the International Data Corporation (IDC) Worldwide Quarterly Industrial Printer Tracker shows industrial printer shipments grew 3.2% in the fourth quarter of 2021, with full year shipments up by more than 17% over 2020. IDC predicts stronger shipment numbers in 2022.

Xerox cash grants to Ukrainian staff, Ricoh suspends shipments, DuPont exits

Using its Employee Relief Fund, print giant Xerox is providing cash grants to employees in Ukraine during the invasion by Russia. Meanwhile, Ricoh joined other printing industry manufacturers in suspending all shipments to Russia and donated over $A1 million to the Red Cross; ink & chemical manufacturer DuPont shut down all business operations in Russia and Belarus.
