Heimtextil postponed as Covid-19 cases rise in Germany

“Travel restrictions that have now been put in place and a renewed rise in the number of infections simply pose too great a hurdle for our very international event,” say organisers Messe Frankfurt. Global textiles expo Heimtextil, which had been billed as the restart of business in the textiles industry, has been postponed from January to 4-7 May, 2021. The move will increase speculation about the date of rescheduled print expo drupa, due to take place in April, 180 km away (1hr 20m by train) in Düsseldorf.

Sydney coffin printer LifeArt wins silver at FESPA Awards

Fujifilm withdraws from drupa and interpak trade shows

Fujifilm has joined a list of major exhibitors to withdraw from next year’s rescheduled global print expo drupa (April 20 – 28, 2021, Düsseldorf) because of the Covid-19 pandemic - "to prioritize the health and safety of our customers and employees." The company has also pulled out of packaging trade fair interpak, due to begin in Düsseldorf in February next year.
