In a stellar launch event at its new Yennora, NSW demo and distribution centre, the global President, Mr Yasunori Ogawa, who took over from Mr Usui (now Chairman) in April; addressed delegates via video call during the launch of new products for high volume dye-sublimation, a new resin 'latex-type' roll printer and Epson's first true flatbed UV printer. Konica Minolta withdraws from drupa 2021

Konica Minolta has joined digital print giants Xerox and Fujifilm in withdrawing from rescheduled global print expo drupa 2021 over health concerns and says it will instead use digital and hybrid formats to engage with customers. Canon and Ricoh also bailed out of drupa this week, following the earlier exits of HP, Xerox, Fujifilm, Kodak, Komori, EFI, Screen and Heidelberg, amongst others.
