Whilst Summa’s new F1625 flatbed cutter is just making its way for the first time in North America, at PRINTING United Expo (October 22nd to 24th in Orlando, Florida); Phil Trumble, Managing Director of Pozitive Sign and Graphic Supplies has confirmed that they already have 3 of the cutters about to arrive locally and be installed.

Summa F1625 at PRINTING United expo editWhile Summa’s new F1625 flatbed cutter is being debuted at PRINTING United Expo, Pozitive has already taken 3 confirmed sales of the cutters, due to arrive in Australia shortly for installation

“The key advantage of the F1625 over other F Series models is its larger working area, which offers more versatility for both rigid and flexible materials. Whilst we have had larger tables in the range already, this table perfectly fits the standard sheet size of 1220 x 2440, whilst also accommodating roll material up to 64”, which is the standard in many cases these days. This makes it a valuable option for wide-format professionals who work with larger substrates, and don’t want to have to induce the sheets.”

According to Trumble, the F1625 ‘can also work in tandem mode for smaller sheets - cutting one half whilst unloading the other, or as an extension table for flexible roll media, where the back half is used for cutting through, and the front half for unloading ad sorting - without stopping production’.

Like the rest of the F Series, the F1625 comes with GoProduce software and a broad range of interchangeable tools, enabling it to cut more than 100 materials with precision and speed.

Randi Kerkaert, Product Manager at Summa, adds: “The F1625 is all about giving professionals what they need most: versatility, reliability, and efficiency in a compact footprint.”
